The Quiz Show Quatrain

Just finished watching the movie "Quiz Show" by Robert Redford (I like his moved for being reflective of whats truly american) and it reminds me of the following verse from Rumi

For years, copying other people, I tried to know myself.
From within, I couldn't decide what to do.
Unable to see, I heard my name being called.
Then I walked outside.

The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don't go back to sleep.
You must ask for what you really want.
Don't go back to sleep.
People are going back and forth across the doorsill
where the two worlds touch.
The door is round and open.
Don't go back to sleep.

Irrespective of all nonsense we do in a jiffy,
a solace to the very soul if v ever had one,is the door.
the door is open ajar, and i see myself at the doorstep,
What holds me is not the door, but the wish that let it be open for some more time.
And in such a case, the door is blocked, and jammed in its own exhistence... bemused as am I.
